Susquehannock, or STPR as it is known, is one of the most exciting rallies on the 2008 schedule. It begins with the "Subaru Splash"- where drivers must cross a deep river, followed by twisting, turning, slick clay roads through thick forests, and finally ending with the home stretch over loose gravel: This race has everything a rally aficionado could ever want. And, with most of the rally happening at night, there is much to see and do during the day. Held in Wellsboro, PA, the location is hard to beat with two beautiful state parks, tons of local colonial history, and the "Grand Canyon of the East" only ten miles away. Make sure you pack your raincoat though, as June weather often brings summer showers!
