Travis and I met in Washington DC for the flight to Argentina. Loaded down with gear, Travis was looking forward to a long flight. It was a 10 hour flight from DC to Argentina. |

After arriving in Buenos Aires, we transferred from the international airport to the domestic airport via taxi. While passing through Buenos Aires, we asked our driver for a 5 minute tour. According to our taxi driver the two things you can't miss are the Argentinian Congress Building... |

...And the Rio de La Plata. 60 miles across the water is Uruguay. If my Spanish is correct, it's all fresh water. |

Waiting for the final flight to Cordoba, Argentina, we had four hours to kill and Travis whipped out some reading material, naturally it was John Buffum's book: "In Like A Lamb, Out Like A Lion". I think Travis is on his 2nd time reading it! (for those not in the know - John Buffum is the most successful American rally driver ever and a member of our team as mentor and sporting advisor). |

As soon as Travis and I exited the baggage claim in Cordoba he was mobbed by adoring fans. He has fans everywhere! |

This is Travis' "evasive maneuver face" while driving our tiny little rental car on some very busy streets in Cordoba! |

The morning after we arrived we had a P-WRC test session, the road was 3000 feet above the city of La Falda. |

The road up was steep, rough, and had some impressive dropoffs. Travis points out an exposure to be avoided.

Travis and our P-WRC steed, a Vermont SportsCar prepared 2007 Subaru Impreza WRX STI. This is the same car we used at Corona Rally Mexico where we finished 5th Overall in the P-WRC results.

P-WRC regulars Toshi Arai and Tony Sircombe were in attendance, and Toshi was delighted! |

Travis provides engineering feedback after the second run on the test road. Due to the roughness of the road surface, we raised the car an additional 10mm.

As promised, we had the pleasure of a large Argentinian lunch with both grilled beef and pork, sausages, vine-ripened tomatoes. The view down to La Falda was impressive, but it'd be a long drive for a gallon of milk. |

Our team of mechanics digesting the big lunch and getting some sun, from left to right: Eugene, Chris, Brandon, Shaun and Gregg.

The mechanics' tool boxes are almost as cool as our rally car! |

Our Subaru wasn't clean for long, the test road had several water splashes.

Here is the back of my helmet, with a cartoon version of myself holding a map! |
